Today We Talk about Cloud computing
What is cloud computing It is a methodology whereby the user is able to access computing services, whether storage, computer processing, or even software, over the web without needing to own physical servers or data centers. Companies and people use services provided by companies such as Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
Key Features of Cloud Computing:
On-Demand Access: For any amount of computing resources required, the user can have access to them at any time they need, without human intervention from their service provider. Internet-Based: Resources are online and accessible from any device that has access to the internet. Sharing of Resources: Many users can share the same resources of a physical asset, such as servers, whereby each user is allocated what they need at the time they need it.
Scalability: You can scale up according to your needs by adding more resources, or scale down by using fewer resources.
Pay-as-You-Go: You pay only for those resources that you actually use. This may save money compared with maintaining your own servers.
Types of Cloud Computing
Infrastructure as a Service – IaaS: Provides virtual hardware over the internet.
Platform as a Service: Provides development tools and platforms on which applications are built and can be executed. Examples include Google App Engine. Software as a Service: Software applications are provided over the internet (sometimes on a subscription basis). Examples include Microsoft Office 365. Advantages Cost-Effective: It saves the business from making huge upfront investments in hardware and software. Flexibility: You can work from anywhere if you have access to the internet. Security: These usually include high-security features such as encryption.
Disaster Recovery: Provides reliable backups and recovery options.
It is just the same way cloud computing makes the availability of renting service rather than buying any equipment. Its getting what and when one needs it without actually managing the infrastructure.
